Geraint Thomas crashed on Tuesday during Stage 4 and was forced to retire from the Tour de Suisse. Thomas is the current Tour de France Champion and favourite to win this year’s Tour.
Geraint Thomas’s crash is unwelcome news for Team Ineos because his teammate, Chris Froome, was involved in a serious crash last week in which he broke various bones and was hospitalised.
Thankfully, today there was welcome news when it was confirmed that Geraint Thomas is fit to defend his crown in this year’s Tour de France.
