iTrakit
iTrakit @ the 5th National (UK) Cycle Crime Conference 'Let's Pedal Faster'.
iTrakit is fully engaged with the Police and we recently attended the National Cycle Crime Conference where we spoke to many of the UK’s police forces.
The conference was hosted by BikeRegister, the national cycle database, in association with British Transport Police (BTP) in Birmingham last week. The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Let’s Pedal Faster’ with speakers outlining ways in which they are pushing the fight against bike crime forward and sharing best practice with around 140 delegates present at the event.
Supt Mark Cleland is UK Cycle Crime lead and he is devising the National Cycle Crime Plan.
We discussed iTrakit and he and other members of the panel could not have been more supportive.
iTrakit can provide the police with vital missing data that they need to find bikes more easily and efficiently. Now, we’ve asked the police to let us know what functions they like us to include so that we can include them into iTrakit.
Together, we can make a real difference to cycle crime.
